Some pretty exciting news for us lately...first of all, the Port House sold in ten days on the market and it has been a whirlwind finishing up the last projects on it and getting ready for our move to Portland. Secondly, our house here in Lincoln City made a Cover Story of the Oregonian! We are floored. The pictures and the story turned out great and we couldn't be happier.

It all started with some friendly emailing with Shannon Quimby (www.shannonquimby.com), a Portland based designer and photo stylist, about possibly exchanging homes for a weekend sometime (via homeexchange.com). We then were actually able to meet her AND tour her home during the Portland Salvage Home Tour in 2012. Not only did her house blow us away, she is the most down-to-earth and spunky person we have ever met. So, we decided to exchange! During the exchange, she texts asking if she can take some scouting pictures of our house for possible publication. Was she joking?!? Absolutely! Anyway, fast forward through more emails, phone calls, a photo shoot and some meetings we have made a life long friend and to top that off, a Cover Story in the Oregonian! Take a look!
Since we are finally making the move to Portland here very soon, we are excited to share that we are going to be putting our dear home here in Lincoln City on the vacation rental market! We are in the final days of getting the last things done before we list it so it should be available to rent as soon as June 13th. Once listed, we will update the blog with links to the listings. We are excited to share this home we built over the past 5 years and to make some new friends along the way!
